Violet Dominguez

Meet our owner and head coach Violet Dominguez. Originally from New York City, Violet grew up training as a dancer, acrobat, and gymnast touring across the country performing and competing. As a competitive gymnast she won multiple state titles and gold medals while competing under USAG gymnastics. As a dancer she trained in all styles ranging from ballet and latin ballroom to Horton and Graham. She attended the prestigious Alvin Ailey school on scholarship while studying at Professional Performing Arts High School and spent her summers training with American Ballet Theatre’s summer intensive. Violet comes from a long line of performers and circus acts. Her grandmother was a contortionist and acrobat for vaudeville, her mother and aunt (twins) are both fosse dancers who toured as broadway performers, and she very happily has followed in their footsteps choreographing and performing as a commercial dancer.
